The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining SAP applications aligned with business requirements.
You will evaluate, design, write, code, and test SAP programs and applications, independently researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software throughout the development life cycle.
This role involves working closely with other SAP functional and technical teams in a collaborative environment to maximize opportunities to promote the strategic use of information technology and enable the workforce to use technologies specifically as a competitive tool.
You will create solutions that meet or exceed end-user expectations, helping lead the definition of solution designs to ensure solutions fit in the overall SAP landscape and leverage standards and best practices.
The role requires meeting with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues and/or identify support requirements for enhancements, writing detailed design and developer module specifications based on business requirements in conjunction with defined software development guidelines.
You will also perform technical research and root cause analysis of complex technical issues, working extensively on screen enhancements, owning the whole development process, and providing user-friendly UIs.
This includes developing/maintaining Odata objects created for apps (Fiori and standard apps), developing/maintaining Generic Object Services (GOS), and developing solutions for digitalization and automation of activities.
Additionally, you will develop solutions for data migration, specifically for merger of entities, have ECC-S4/HANA migration experience, and ability to configure/maintain the SAP system specifically in areas such as SD, Credit management, MM, FI-Automatic Payment runs, set up COPA transfer structures/derivation rules etc.
Other responsibilities include developing and implementing custom applications as assigned, implementing and/or customizing third-party off-the-shelf applications, and working as a key project resource on a project team or independently to complete assigned tasks.
The successful candidate will accept accountability for technical aspects of development, complete complex, hands-on development tasks with limited direction, comply with company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignment.
Performing other related duties and responsibilities as assigned, multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines in a timely manner, with strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be professionally qualified with a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, computer engineering, or related field.
Completion of 5 full lifecycle SAP implementations utilizing standard SDLC methodologies such as ASAP or Waterfall Model is required.
Five years of development experience in SAP CRM / C4HANA and SAP CRM-UI, five years of experience in SAP CRM supporting the following business processes: Service Orders, Service Contracts, Sales, Install Bases, and Interaction Centre, including experience in supporting Marketing and Loyalty functionality in SAP CRM.
Five years of development experience in each of the following S/4HANA / ECC modules: FI, CO, SD, LE, PTP, MM, WM, PP, three years of experience in the following SAP systems: EWM, GTS, SCM / Ariba, APO.
Specific experience with Human Resources (HR) / SuccessFactors Module is desired, including but not limited to the following areas: Organizational Management, Personnel Management, Benefits, Administration & Payroll.
Three years of experience developing with in PI/PO, five years of development experience within the following SAP toolsets: CRM Middleware, BDOCs, Graphical Mapping, ABAP Mapping, SLD/IR/ID configuration, Web Services, Screen Painter, Classes/Methods, BSPs, ABAP Workbench, WebDynpro for JAVA/ABAP, Workflow, Object Oriented ABAP, Function modules (RFC), SAP Script, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, BPM, User Exits, BADIs, BTEs, substitution exits, pricing routines, ALV, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, CMOD, Enhancement Spots, BDC/Call Transaction, Logical Database, Data Dictionary, LSMW, etc.
Three years of experience developing and presenting technical solution recommendations to leadership to solve complex business issues, Java development experience preferred.
Ability to learn new technologies with minimal training or supervision, ability to complete assigned work independently with limited direction.
