A Day in the Life
As the Program Director – Business Practice Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of learning and development for the SAPMENA Zone.
Reporting to the Head of People Development and Learning for the Zone, you’ll collaborate with senior business leaders, HR teams, and global learning experts to design and deliver impactful training programs that empower our teams to thrive in a fast-evolving business landscape.
Your mission is to translate business challenges into innovative learning solutions that drive high performance and future-ready capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Zone People Development and Learning team in assessing, identifying training needs and profiling target audiences for programs in Business Functions (experienced in Commerce/ E-commerce / Marketing/Digital) and developing the training to address them.
- Collaborates with Senior Business Leaders, HRDs and HRBPs to anticipate future skills/capabilities of business teams/employees and translates into core, leadership and professional skills to enable high performance.
These skills are then embedded into the design of training programs.
- Monitors and evaluates Global offers rollout for SAPMENA and enables pilot runs, provides feedback on relevancy, impact and how to further enhance.
- Partners closely with Global Practices and Universities to leverage global offers, localize them and adapt them (content and instructional design) when needed to provide the relevant experience for SAPMENA learners.
- Design and deliver strategic and impactful learning solutions by selecting the best providers/experts/coaches/agencies/business partners/speakers and systematically adapting the program to the L’Oréal context and culture of South Asian Pacific Middle East North Asian Zone.
- Animates and professionalizes the learning experience through advanced facilitation, design and delivery across diverse training formats benefitting a multi-cultural audience.
- Manages effectively & efficiently the Zone Campus learning resources (team planner tracking, strategic pricing of seminars, P&L budget management, timely preparation, delivery and evaluation of seminars).
Qualifications
- Have strong business experience, ideally in functions like Marketing, or are an external learning design expert with a proven track record in creating impactful business programs.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with executive-level stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and complex projects.
- Are skilled in critical thinking, translating business challenges into actionable learning strategies.
- Have expertise in learning content design, facilitation, and event management, with proficiency in digital learning tools and systems.
- Thrive in stakeholder management, mobilizing and influencing key partners to ensure learning effectiveness.
- Excels at activation, budget management and data-driven, with the ability to measure learning program impact, ensures it synergizes with our global learning content and creatively build affordable learning solutions.
