Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and evaluate advanced materials for energy applications, including fusion, fission, hydrogen technologies, or other extreme environment systems.Conduct research on materials for harsh and extreme environments to improve performance and reliability in energy systems.Assist project and group leaders in preparing research proposals and achieving OKR (Objectives and Key Results).Publish high-quality scientific papers and contribute to intellectual property development.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on energy-related projects.Job Requirements:
PhD in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields Strong publication record and/or relevant industry experience.Proven expertise in materials development for energy-related research such as fusion, fission, hydrogen, or other advanced energy systems.Experience with materials characterization techniques and performance evaluation in extreme environments.Solid understanding of metallurgy, material degradation mechanisms, and structural integrity analysis.Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.Strong problem-solving abilities and effective teamwork skills.
