The Translational Neuroscience programme of the Institute for Human Development and Potential (IHDP), under Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR) invites applications for a Scientist position in the area of environment, sleep and social emotional learning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in research that targets the environmental determinants of sleep and social emotional learning in adolescents.
As a scientist within the program, you will participate in research meetings, training activities, data collection and analysis and manuscript preparation.
Responsibilities
Conduct original analyses using multidimensional datasets in collaboration with A*STAR researchers and external collaborators from other institutions of higher learning.
Attend regular meetings/discussions with a group of post-doctorate researchers and PIs to foster collaborations and produce impactful research.Assist in the preparation of grant applications and grant progress reports.Partner with data scientists from other A*STAR institutes to interpret and write up findings on network analyses and structural equation models.Performs comprehensive literature review.Scientific writing of abstracts and peer-reviewed manuscripts.To provide supervision and training to junior staff in research methods.
Requirements
PhD in Psychology, Biomedical Sciences or other relevant fields.Knowledge of statistical software ?
R, SPSS, Mplus etcHas a strong team focus, with the ability to work independentlyExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and conscientiousnessExperience in advanced computational/modelling methods (e.g. network analyses, SEM) will be advantageous.
