We are seeking a Techno-Functional Scrum Master based in Singapore who can effectively manage cross-functional teams, including technical resources located in the US.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of technical expertise and functional domain knowledge, particularly in Supply Chain Management, along with proven Agile leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Enable teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver high-quality outcomes by supporting and enforcing effective agile practices.
- Coordinate with other teams and communicate status updates to management.
- Educate and coach the team on Scrum and Agile best practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Remove impediments and foster a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Organize relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and bottlenecks.
- Ensure availability and engagement of team members across time zones.
- Manage team dynamics and interpersonal aspects.
- Support technical stakeholders to ensure people-related issues do not impact sprint deliverables.
- Configure and manage Scrum tools (e.g., ADO, JIRA), including backlog setup, sprint planning, KPI tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Development teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Provide hands-on support in technical discussions and decision-making when needed.
- Ensure smooth DevOps processes, including code promotion, deployment coordination, and environment management.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of overall industry experience.
- 6+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Experience managing distributed teams, especially across Singapore and US time zones.
- Prior experience in a techno-functional role with the ability to understand and guide technical teams.
- Exposure to Supply Chain Management processes and systems.
- Experience in managing Python, Data Engineering, and AI/ML projects.
- Experience in configuring and managing ADO, JIRA, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and code promotion workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems.
- Agile methodology, Scrum framework, Sprint planning.
- Ability to generate and interpret reports and KPIs from agile tools.
Mandatory Skills
- Deep understanding of Scrum practices and Agile coaching.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience working with global teams and managing time zone differences.
- Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management and ability to bridge technical and business teams.
