Roles & Responsibilities Job Description:
As an Snr Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced technology environment.
You will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, support internal controls, and assist in audit, tax, and compliance activities.
The role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and to collaborate with other teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, month-end closing)
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Review customer invoices and follow up on receivables
- Manage supplier payments and employee expense claims
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare GST submissions and assist with tax computations
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks
- Assist in process improvement and implementation of accounting systems or automation tools
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal controls
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 4 –5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the IT or projects-related industry
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Microsoft ERP systems (BC or NAV) would be advantageous.
- Understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in handling multi-currency transactions is an advantage
- Exposure to intercompany transactions and project costing will be a plus
