Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of urban design, architectural planning, stakeholder coordination, and construction management to develop the Island Heart, ensuring integration with transport, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and the Greater Sentosa Masterplan (GSMP) vision.
Urban Design & Architecture Development
Define urban design and architectural scopes for the Island Heart.
Plan transport hub and mixed-use development, ensuring alignment with the GSMP vision.
Stakeholder Coordination & Business Strategy
Align with internal stakeholders on product positioning, business strategy, and experience curation.
Ensure physical assets follow the Urban Design Principles set for GSMP.
Integration with Other Consultancy Packages
Coordinate with infrastructure, transport, and precinct urban designers from separate consultancy teams.
Develop Urban Design Guidelines for public spaces and parcels to be developed by private developers.
Environmental & Coastal Protection Considerations
Work with engineers and environmental consultants on reclamation and coastal protection.
Safeguard the physical character of the site while integrating sustainability efforts.
Architectural Works & Implementation
Define architectural scopes, appoint consultants, and oversee design and construction of public architecture.
Ensure infrastructure and public amenities meet GSMP standards.
Serve as site architect during the construction phase.
Job Requirements
Processes a recognized degree in Architecture and/or Urban Planning/Design
Registered QP with Singapore’s Board of Architects
Minimum 7-year experience in the Real Estate, Urban Planning and Construction Industry
Strong understanding of Singapore's urban design framework
Conversant and current with local building codes and regulations
Experience in development urban planning processes and implementing Urban Design Guidelines
Experience in mixed use development with different strata ownership
Experience in reclamation work
Excellent in analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong project management and organisational skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to coordinate teams and work effectively in multi-disciplinary environments
Experience in stakeholder management and engagement
Must be team player and able to join the dots in the complex developmental processes to drive projects
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
