Job Title: Architecture Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Architecture Coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the progress and quality of architectural works.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers to plan schedules for calling quotations of sub-contractors and materials.
- Evaluate the quality of drawings and information to ensure they reflect actual site requirements or amendments from clients or consultants.
- Produce sketches and drawings to assist in resolving conflicts between architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
- Liaise with consultants to resolve conflicts and inform project managers of variations from specifications or drawings.
- Ensure the coordination of various trades is properly sequenced and following correct dimensions, alignment, levels, and set-out.
- Assist site quantity surveyors and project managers in qualifying needs of finishes materials for calling quotations and awarding to suppliers or vendors.
- Plan for timely delivery of materials and coordinate storage places with project managers.
- Monitor and assist sub-contractors on all matters relating to the progress of works by holding regular meetings.
- Plan duties for architectural supervisors and monitor progress on timing and quality.
- Attend consultant site meetings, technical meetings, and sub-contractor meetings.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or a related field (e.g., Building Technology, Interior Design).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an architectural firm or construction company.
- Strong understanding of architectural construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction materials and methods (a plus).
- Familiarity with building regulations and standards (a plus).
