Job Description
The Senior Assistant Manager / Manager, Admissions and Financial Aid (Policy & Operations) supports the Admissions and Financial Aid Division’s core objective of recruiting qualified applicants for admission to SIT in alignment with SIT and its overseas university partners’ admissions standards.
The role is responsible for assisting the Head, Admissions Policy and Operations, and the Admissions Director in driving SIT admissions exercises to achieve application and matriculation targets, while managing key functional portfolios such as Policy Planning, Market Research, and Statistical Studies.
Key Responsibilities
Work with management to develop and implement a holistic student admissions system.
Assist the Head, Admissions Policy and Operations in running end‐to‐end admissions operations.
Ensure all SIT admissions policies and procedures are strictly adhered to by the team.
Prepare and generate admission statistics for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct market and competitor analysis, research (literature review, admissions surveys, focus groups), and data analysis to inform and evolve admissions policies.
Participate in recruitment and enrolment activities, including open houses, SIT talks and road shows.
Coordinate admissions exercises to ensure seamless operation.
Collaborate with Overseas University partners, SIT Directors of Programmes and Programme Leads to achieve enrolment targets.
Takes ownership of functional portfolios such as Policy Planning, Data Analytics, Service Quality, and Cluster IC‐ships, leading a team and providing strategic oversight.
Undertake ad‐hoc projects and assignments supporting divisional and institutional priorities.
Requirements
A recognised degree or equivalent relevant skills and experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 3 years of experience, preferably in an educational environment, with exposure to admissions operations and systems work.
Prior experience managing 1–2 reportees is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Excellent oral, written and public speaking communication skills; strong people‐management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively within tight deadlines.
