Senior / Business Development Manager (Lifesciences Analytical Instruments)
We are looking for a driven and strategic
Business Development Manager
to spearhead growth initiatives for an advanced high-resolution analytical technology within the Scientific Instrumentation business.
This role focuses on expanding market presence, cultivating strong partnerships, and driving sales performance across the APAC region.
You will collaborate closely with regional sales, marketing, and technical teams to position cutting-edge solutions that empower research and innovation across multiple industries.
SCOPE:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities , partnerships, and collaborations for advanced analytical instruments through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.
Develop and execute strategies
to drive revenue growth.
Maintain an accurate sales funnel and deliver reliable forecasts to ensure regional performance targets are met.
Partner with cross-functional teams
to guide prospects through the full sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
Formulate
tactical sales plans
that align with business objectives and regional growth targets.
Translate market intelligence into actionable commercial strategies.
Support sales and marketing teams
through virtual or in-person training sessions on technology applications and commercial positioning.
Collaborate with marketing to
launch campaigns
that enhance product visibility and generate qualified leads across target markets.
Build and sustain long-term client relationships , capturing success stories and feedback to refine future initiatives and strengthen retention.
Maintain a
strong understanding of related analytical technologies
to effectively communicate their scientific and commercial value.
THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATE:
Education Degree in Science-related discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related).
Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management, ideally within the scientific instruments business.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
