Responsibilities:
- Handle pre-contract activities: tender preparation, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and risk assessment
- Manage post-contract activities: variation orders, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims in compliance with the Security of Payment Act (SOPA)
- Conduct project contract briefings for project teams to explain obligations, risks, and key deliverables
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's legal and regulatory requirements, including WSH and PDPA
- Administer project-related insurance policies (CAR, Workmen's Compensation, Public Liability)
- Prepare, review, and manage subcontracts, claims, and variations
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, finance, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues
- Conduct site evaluations to ensure work progress, compliance, and quality
- Maintain proper contract documentation for audit readiness
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field
- 3–6 years of contract management/project experience in construction or engineering
- Knowledge of FIDIC, PSSCOC, and Singapore SOPA requirements
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
- Able to manage multiple projects independently
