What You Will Do:
- Lead engineering experiments to characterize and improve dry etch processes , focusing on quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
- Identify and implement innovations to drive continuous improvement.
- Define and establish robust process margins to ensure stable dry etch operations.
- Set up and optimize inline process controls to monitor key parameters and maintain process integrity.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies for potential process deviations.
- Diagnose and resolve process issues implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Optimize dry etch processes to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.
- Develop and update detailed process specifications, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Establish and maintain SPC charts for critical process parameters, analyzing data for trends and improvements.
- Conduct regular process capability analyses to assess and improve process performance (CpK).
- Establish and maintain an OCAP to handle process deviations effectively and train personnel on procedures.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for defects, yield issues, and process excursions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Any other duties assigned by the manager.
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):
- Strong experience in dry process engineering , preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of dry etch technology, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
Field of Study
- Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Material Sciences, Mechanical, Chemistry or equivalent).
Years of Experience (Minimum)
Preferred Qualification
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
