Senior EHS Engineer - Marine (Tuas/Changi)

Purpose of Role:
Maintains the organization EHS management system by inspecting the implementation of EHS Management System, perform frequent audits on the operational control, evaluate against the compliance to legal regulations, EHS MS and other standards.
Possesses analytical skills and values collaboration in order to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
Supports project & department to comply with EHS regulations & policies
Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices
Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Plan and execute the safety management system audits
Working with clients to develop or make improvements to the safety management system
Working with operations/EHS team to develop policies and procedures specific to their needs
Organises and conducts EHS inspection on project assigned
Drives project EHSMS for compliances
Participates in EHS related incident investigation
Undertakes key department duties as assigned by Asst Mgr (EHS)/ Mgr (EHS)
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree related to EHS or any Engineering fields
Possess 3 years' experience in EHS role
Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification & Confined Space Assessor Certification are added advantage
Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Shipbuilding & Ship Repairs regulation
Good report writing & incident investigation & analytical skills
Possess strong leadership & interpersonal skill
Proficient in MS Office for reporting and presentation purpose
Only Singapore Citizen will be considered for this role
