Role Profile
As a Senior Engineer for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Detection Systems in Aviation, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of advanced image processing and AI solutions for aviation safety.
Your expertise in programming, particularly in C++, and experience with AI and image processing will be key in driving the success of our FOD detection systems.
You will work on projects from proof of concept (POC) to deployment and maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of image processing and AI algorithms for FOD detection systems.
Develop and maintain software in C++ for real-time image processing applications.
Work on camera AI projects, including POC, programming, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to image processing and AI systems.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our FOD detection technologies through research and innovation.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed systems and processes.
Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and solution presentations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
B.Eng in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
An M.E degree in image processing is a plus.
Strong programming skills in C++ with experience in developing and deploying AI and image processing applications.
Proven experience in camera AI projects, including POC, programming, deployment, and maintenance.
Deep understanding of image processing algorithms and AI techniques.
Familiarity with common TCP/IP-based services and network security is an advantage.
Experience with protocol analysis tools and troubleshooting in network environments.
Knowledge of network automation, Python, and Ansible is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of self-motivation and customer focus.
