About The Role

As Senior Executive, Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation & Research (MER), you will play a pivotal role in advancing The Salvation Army's mission in Singapore.

Reporting to the Director, Social and Community Services, you will be working closely with Programme teams and all Social & Community Services in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of yearly and multi-year strategic plans, facilitate workshops, and ensure alignment with international mission priorities.

  • Support organisational assessments, recommend improvements, and contribute to change management for key initiatives.

  • Assist in programme design, implement evaluation frameworks, analyse data, and support evaluation projects.

  • Coordinate research with internal/external partners and represent TSA at speaking engagements where required.

  • Support training of staff, preparation of dashboards, and reporting processes.

  • Provide administrative support to the department and undertake projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Policy, Research, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in strategic planning, programme evaluation, monitoring, or research - preferably in social/community services or non-profit sector.

  • Strong skills in data analysis, impact assessment, and reporting (e.g., Excel, Power BI or equivalent).

  • Good project coordination skills, with the ability to support workshops and team initiatives.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Other Information

Duty Hours

Total work hours: 44 hours per week

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

8.30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)

As an executive staff, you are expected to work beyond the normal hours based on the exigencies of service.

It will be at the discretion of the Director, Social and Community Services, or his/ her assigned representative to determine whether you will be required to work any of the unutilised hours according to the operational needs of the Department and within the legitimacy of the employment laws where applicable.
