The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian.
Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research.
The School’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching.
The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School.
In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities.
Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities.LKCMedicine is looking for a **Senior Executive (Clinical Research Officer, Operations)** who is self-motivated, proactive in problem solving and a strong team player.
The candidate will enjoy staff benefits and be part of the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study team, a flagship Singapore population health study jointly conducted by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London.
We aim to profile the health and behavior of up to 100,000 people from the general Singapore population over the next few years.
We are conducting (1) surveys on health, lifestyle and dietary habits, (2) physical and functional measurements (e.g. anthropometry, hand grip strength, treadmill walking test, spirometry, ECG, retinal imaging, arterial stiffness and skin physiology assessments and (3) biomarkers for chronic diseases.**The candidate will play a key role mainly in, but not limited to, the following roles:*** Maintain clear and professional communication with study participants.* Able to guide participants through the study, ensuring they complete all required assessments.* Administer questionnaires and perform sample and physiological data collection accurately and efficiently.* Eager to develop skills and gain exposure to all aspects of study processes and tasks.* Ensures minimal disruption to study operations by troubleshooting and addressing equipment failures promptly.* Monitor consumables and study supplies, flagging needs for replenishment.* Ensure strict adherence to study protocols, including familiarity with the Code Blue Response SOP.* Adhere to Good Clinical Practice standards and HBRA requirements throughout the conduct of the study.* Assist and work well with the Team Leads and colleagues.**Key Competencies and Requirements:*** Bachelor degree in Allied Health Sciences / Biomedical Sciences or other related fields.
Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.* Ability to work independently with high levels of motivation.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* A team player, able to work well in a team to deliver good research participant care.* Must pay attention to detail.* Fluent in spoken and written English.
