The Senior Executive / Impact Advisor helps companies in Singapore inspire and enable the adoption of socially sustainable business practices to strengthen our social compact and build a more resilient future.
Apart from providing support, tools, and networks to businesses to make corporate volunteering meaningful, sustainable and rewarding, this role will involve working closely with the SBF Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, as well as key intermediaries and agencies in the ecosystem to drive VolunteerInc., SBF's corporate volunteering programme.
This role reports to the Head of Programmes at the Social Sustainability Division.
Job Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue prospective business clients, providing tailored, clear and timely advice to support their interest
- Support marketing and communications efforts to generate interest
- Track trends in social sustainability and impact to shape strategy and programme design
Relationship and Partnership Management:
- Work closely with the team to manage relationships with business clients and community partners
- Act as key contact for day-to-day communications ensuring clarity, responsiveness and alignment with programme objectives
- Maintain stakeholder databases, tracking engagement data and contributing insights that inform on strategy and programme growth
- Support business and community partner journey mapping, ensuring a meaningful volunteer experience
Matching, Deployment and Reporting:
- Engage ready businesses to recommend suitable programmes to support their volunteering needs
- Facilitate matching and smooth deployment of volunteering opportunities
- Guide business clients on impact tracking and social impact reporting
Team Collaboration:
- Contribute to team discussions, planning sessions, and problem-solving efforts
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve operational efficiency and client experience
Undertake other roles as and when required
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Relevant certifications e.g. in CSR or Sustainability would be advantageous.
- 2-3 years of experience in CSR, nonprofit partnerships, corporate engagement, or membership recruitment and relations preferred.
- Knowledge of corporate volunteering, ESG, sustainability, and social impact trends.
- Strong organisational skills to manage timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate across multiple workstreams.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data and conduct research.
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-starter and eager learner who is responsible and accountable for work that is assigned.
