Job description

NTU PACE plays a pivotal role in coordinating and uniting efforts across various internal departments and external partners to effectively promote NTU's postgraduate programmes by coursework (PGCs), as well as its lifelong learning initiatives.

Beyond the PGCs offered by Schools, Colleges and Institutes, NTU PaCE collaborates with these entities to provide interdisciplinary Master of Science programmes, Graduate Certificate and FlexiMasters Certificate courses that can lead to a Master's degree.

This role will support the operations of 2 new IPGC programmes at NTU PACE: MSc Nanotechnology and Nanoscience and MSc Engineering Management.

The first intake students for both programmes are currently in session and so the replacement is required to keep operations ongoing.

In the coming year, enrollment is expected to grow as IPGC programmes continue to expand.

He/She will report to the Assistant Manager (IPGC Programme Management and Operations) and will assist in ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experience for the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Course management

  2. Assist in the administration of the programmes involving schedules, course registration, fees payment, venues, case studies, faculty evaluations, student certificates and related logistics.

  3. Faculty management

  4. Support in the handling of faculty appointments, approvals, agreements, payments and faculty's requests.

  5. Exam management

  6. Help with exam processes involving preparation of exam package, printing of exam scripts, marks entry, moderation, mark lists and related activities.

  7. Student management

  8. Build a good relationship with students and attend to their requests on programme related matters.

  9. Class administration

  10. Provide administrative and logistics support to classes like setting up and supporting hybrid and online classes.

  11. Office Administration

  12. Support overall management of programme like invoice payment and general requirements like coordinating with other departments for information.

Key Competencies:

  • A recognized Degree in any related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administration and training support operation
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office Application
  • Proactive team player, able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision
  • Meticulous and able to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines
