Job description

Position: Senior Executive (Quality Assurance)
Contract Duration: 1 year (Renewable / Convertible)
Salary: Up to $5,500/month
Location: FairPrice Group Fresh Food Distribution Centre, 7 Sunview Rd, Singapore
Working Hours: 5 days/week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend), 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Benefits: 18 days Annual Leave, 1-month completion bonus



Role Overview:


We are seeking a Senior Executive (Quality Assurance) to lead and maintain food safety and quality standards at our Fresh Food Distribution Centre.

The primary focus is to achieve and uphold ISO 22000 certification for the Central Processing Unit (CPU).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance & ISO 22000 Implementation:

  • Establish and manage the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to meet ISO 22000 standards.

  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits.

  • Develop and maintain HACCP plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality documentation.

  • Preventive Maintenance:

  • Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to manage and implement the Preventive Maintenance Programme.

  • Training & Compliance:

  • Conduct food safety, hygiene, and quality standards training for staff.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

  • Process Monitoring & Improvement:

  • Monitor production processes to ensure the consistent production of safe and high-quality food products.

  • Investigate process deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Food Safety & Quality team and external consultants.

  • Prepare and present quality reports and improvement initiatives to support management decision-making.



Job Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance within a central kitchen or food production facility.

  • Experience in leading or overseeing production in a food manufacturing/processing plant, preferably in seafood or meat processing.
