An APAC Payroll Senior Executive manages the end-to-end payroll process for employees across multiple countries within the Asia-Pacific region.
This role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll processing, including salary disbursements, deductions, and statutory contributions.
The specialist will also handle payroll queries, prepare reports, and stay updated on regional payroll regulations.
Process and manage payroll operations for employees across multiple offices in the Asia-Pacific region Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing including salary disbursements, deductions, allowances, and statutory contributionsCoordinate with HR teams and finance departments from different countries to gather payroll data and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policiesMaintain and update employee payroll data within the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and complianceAddress employee payroll queries and issues promptly and professionallyPrepare and reconcile payroll reports for management review, including payroll journals, GL files, and ad-hoc reportsStay updated on changes in payroll regulations and tax laws across the region and implement necessary updates to ensure complianceEnsure adherence to local payroll tax laws, regulations, and company policies across different Asia-Pacific countriesAssist in payroll-related audits and assessments including handling year-end tax activities, remittances, and reportingCollaborate with external payroll service providers and vendors when necessary About you:
Must be based in Singapore and require no work pass to start workBachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least 6 to 8 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multinational company in multiple countries, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax regulations, and labor laws in Singapore and in various Asia-Pacific countriesProficient in using payroll software and systemsMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentTeam player with ability to work independently, with limited supervision and multi-task in a dynamic environment Fluency in English Language is requiredLanguage proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage to handle written documents in Mandarin to process payrolls for Taiwan and China Why us:
