About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Senior Executive (Quality Assurance) to lead food safety and quality initiatives within a centralised production facility.
The role will play a key part in achieving ISO 22000 certification and ensuring compliance across key areas including fruit & vegetable production, fish/seafood processing, and meat processing.
You will work closely with production teams, technical staff, and external consultants to implement best practices and uphold the highest standards in food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) including ISO 22000.
- Drive internal and external audits, HACCP plans, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor product quality from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring consistency and safety.
- Conduct investigations on non-conformances, process deviations, and customer feedback.
- Oversee hygiene checks, environmental testing, and preventive maintenance programmes.
- Develop and conduct training on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Support R&D trial runs to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- 2–3 years' experience in quality assurance within a central kitchen or food production facility.
- Background in food manufacturing/processing is required; seafood/meat processing experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems and quality control standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead a team, work independently, and collaborate across departments.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is an advantage.
