Key Responsibilities
Facilities Upkeep & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across multiple food court locations.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and kitchen exhaust systems.
- Ensure timely rectification of breakdowns, minimizing downtime for tenants and customers
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs and cost efficiency are met.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers for facilities-related services.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all facilities comply with local regulatory requirements, building codes, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and permits related to facilities management.
Project Support during New Store Setup
- Assist in renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects by coordinating with project and design teams.
- Track facilities budget, expenditures, and cost-saving opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within F&B, food courts, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, safety standards, and building services.
- Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to operational issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with tenants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Proficient in MS Office and facilities management systems (CMMS experience is a plus).
- Willingness to travel and be on standby for urgent facilities-related matters.
