The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care.
The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian.
Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research.
The School’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching.
The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School.
In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities.
The TARIPH Centre for Respiratory Research Excellence at LKCMedicine is a national platform advancing research in respiratory health and disease in Singapore.
We bring together interdisciplinary researchers, clinicians, and patient partners to drive innovation in respiratory care and impactful research that informs local healthcare and policy.
As the Centre expands, we are seeking a motivated and capable
Senior Executive / Assistant Manager
to support our daily operations and engagement activities.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public health initiatives while building a career in academic or research administration.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Centre Manager in overseeing daily functions and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
Manage administrative tasks including procurement, office coordination, performance tracking (KPI reporting), and event organisation.
Handle the Centre’s main communication inbox and ensure prompt, professional responses to stakeholders.
Coordinate meetings with internal and external parties—prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Develop communication materials such as website content, newsletters, and activity reports to support the Centre’s visibility and outreach.
Liaising with institutional departments and external collaborators to support the implementation of research initiatives.
Engage with TARIPH patient partners and coordinate activities for the TARIPH Patient Network.
Performing other duties as required to support the Centre’s growth and operations.
Key Competencies and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any field
At least 3 years of relevant experience in academic, healthcare, or research administration is preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong interest and relevant skills may also be considered.
Experience in event coordination or stakeholder engagement is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Adobe/content design software is advantageous
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
