Our client is a well-established regional organization with operations spanning across multiple in Asia, Australia and Europe.
As part of their continued growth and drive to strengthen financial governance, they are seeking an experienced Senior Finance & Consolidation Manager to oversee group-level complex consolidation, financial reporting, and business partnering activities across a network up to 30 legal entities gobally.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role, ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical depth of group finance as well as strategic collaboration with senior business leaders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and performance management across the group.
Description
Group Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead the end-to-end group consolidation process across multiple countries and entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Review intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with group accounting policies and IFRS standards.
- Continuously improve consolidation processes, systems, and internal controls for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow
- Drive the group budgeting and forecasting process, consolidating inputs from various regional teams.
- Prepare and review cash flow forecasts, ensuring sound liquidity management and optimal capital allocation.
- Analyze performance against budget and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee and validate EBITDA forecasts, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions and supporting commercial decision-making.
Technical Accounting & Compliance
- Serve as the group's technical accounting lead, maintaining accounting policies and internal controls.
- Oversee statutory compliance for all legal entities, working closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or equivalent ERP system) to enhance financial visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Drive automation and process standardization across regional finance teams.
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification strongly preferred.
Big 4 background preferred.
- At least 7 years of finance experience, with proven expertise in regional group consolidation involving multiple entities and currencies.
- Strong technical grounding in accounting standards and internal controls.
- Hands‑on experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis, with the ability to guide and challenge business units.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence senior leaders, including CEOs and business heads.
