Position: Senior Hull Outfitting Design Engineer
Well Established Singapore Based Marine & Offshore MNC
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500 + Variable Bonus
Working Location: Tuas

Main Responsibilities:
Develop structural design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.
Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule.
Takes on project role.
Review external designer's pre-contract technical specifications, general arrangement and drawing lists.
Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval.
Create the hull outfitting equipment sourcing technical specifications for cranes, deck machinery, outfitting, etc.
Conduct a technical assessment of the offer made by the seller.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
Prepare arrangement & detail outfitting drawings.
Develop and update weight report (weight and center of gravity).
Coordinates with detail designer / production designer and checks their processes and output.
Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site if needed.
Safety and architectural outfitting coverage.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the Marine & Offshore industry Detail Design for Hull Outfitting newbuild engineering design.
Familiar with AutoCAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA.
Good communication and analytical.
