Senior Lecturer/Lecturer Position in Mathematical Sciences

The Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Mathematical Sciences.
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in mathematics or statistics or computer science or a closely related field, with demonstrated expertise in financial mathematics, financial technology, and analytics .
The successful applicant will play a key role in teaching and practice-oriented research, with a focus on industry engagement and interdisciplinary applications.
In particular, the appointee will be expected to:
Teach in the Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Technology and MSc in Analytics programmes and contribute to undergraduate teaching;
Supervise student projects and provide academic mentoring;
Lead or participate in applied research, consultancy, and projects that bridge mathematics/statistics/computer science with real-world applications;
Support and promote the MSc programmes through active engagement with industry partners;
Contribute to enhancing the quality and visibility of the MSc programmes, particularly through practice-based innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
