Role Overview
We're seeking a customer-focused, hands-on logistics professional to deliver the best customer service experience to our clients.
In this role, you will act as the key point of contact for customers, ensuring their logistics needs are met with efficiency, care, and professionalism.
You will manage client relationships, coordinate freight and warehouse operations, and take the lead in service recovery, SOP improvements, and guiding newcomers.
In addition, candidates who are able to identify opportunities, support the sales team, or bring in new business will enjoy additional bonus incentives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central contact for customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Manage client bookings, inbound and outbound orders, and coordinate across freight, transport, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor and manage inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and deliveries using Transport Management System (TMS).
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and escalations with professionalism; provide solutions and corrective action plans.
- Work with Manager to strengthen SOPs and improve service delivery standards.
- Train and guide new team members to deliver consistent customer service.
- Improve order cycle times, reduce costs, and enhance customer outcomes.
- Coordinate with external vendors when outsourcing is required, ensuring service quality is maintained.
- Support client operational review meetings to improve communication and strengthen partnerships.
- Identify upsell opportunities in driving revenue growth, and be rewarded with bonus for contributing to new sales.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies
- Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in freight forwarding, warehousing, and/or transport logistics,contract logistics.
- Strong background in customer service and client relationship management.
- Familiar with WMS/TMS and SOP-driven operations.
- Proven ability to resolve issues independently and think of customer-oriented solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong ability to manage customer portfolios through excellent client service, proposal support, and business insights.
- Hands-on and adaptable — willing to roll up sleeves to get the job done in fast past environment
- Strong organizational skills: able to prioritize, plan, detail oriented and deliver under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and formulas, Word, PowerPoint, Vlook up).
