Role Responsibilities
- Managing project execution and a team of consultants ensuring the successful delivery of client engagements, including planning the day‑to‑day work of the team, facilitating client interviews and workshops, structuring client deliverables and ensuring Alpha’s standards for quality are met.
- Developing strategies and driving high‑quality work products within expected timeframes on budget.
- Delivering strategies by bringing together diverse stakeholders to work effectively in partnership.
- Analysing the client’s current state, developing proposals, and assisting and implementing recommendations or solutions to ensure the best use of clients’ resources.
- Conducting research, surveys and interviews and discussing organisational problems with clients.
- Monitoring progress, managing risks and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about project progress and expected outcomes to ensure client efficiency.
- Supporting Alpha FMC’s business development by driving the creation of client proposals, authoring thought leadership, and maintaining strong relationships with past and prospective clients.
- Contributing to the wider Alpha community by making innovative and proactive contributions to one or more of Alpha’s business management or practice areas.
- Maintaining a broad understanding of the challenges facing the Asset & Wealth Management Industry and acting as an expert in at least one area in demand by clients.
- Developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships and networks.
Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications)
- At least 7+ years of proven asset and/or wealth management consulting experience at a recognised consulting firm or through an ‘in‑house’ consulting / program management role at an asset or wealth management organization.
- Excellent understanding of the asset and/or wealth management across a range of client segments, offerings, and businesses.
- Experience and knowledge of projects engaged on Front‑To‑Back Transformation, Data, Middle Office / Back Office Transformation & Migration, Target Operating Model, Business Processes and/or IT solutions in areas such as Investments, Operations, Distribution & CRM.
- Solid understanding of both public and private markets’ asset classes.
- Familiarity with core technology platforms in use in the industry (e.g. Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg, SimCorp, Salesforce).
- Excellent consulting and problem‑solving skills; familiarity with recognised consulting frameworks and techniques; experience of research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication techniques.
- Proven presentation skills, personal impact and charisma to lead senior meetings and workshops supported by first‑class written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with C‑Suite Executives, and ability to influence key stakeholders, including examples of client
