The Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President, Project Management will play a critical role in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of development projects across Perennial Holdings project portfolio.
The incumbent will leverage on their expertise to ensure projects are designed, engineered, and constructed to the highest standards, with a focus on sustainability, cost-efficiency, and operational performance.
This role requires a strategic, hands-on project leader with the ability to collaborate across disciplines, manage consultants and contractors, and safeguard Perennial’s interests in every stage of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Work with Project Directors to manage the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and design development to construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality objectives.
Review and validate design proposals, technical specifications, and value engineering options with strong emphasis on M&E systems.
Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve site issues proactively.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide in-depth technical input on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ACMV, fire protection, and specialist building systems if required.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, codes of practice, sustainability frameworks (e.g., BCA Green Mark), and operational requirements.
Support the integration of smart building technologies, energy efficiency measures, and sustainable engineering solutions.
Drive cost control, claims management, and value engineering initiatives.
Liaise with internal stakeholders (Singapore, China and other overseas markets) to align project delivery with business objectives.
Requirements
Recognised degree in relevant discipline.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in project management with the real estate developers, consultants or contractors.
Proven track record in delivering large-scale mixed-use, commercial, healthcare, or other complex projects in Singapore or the region.
Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements, building codes, and authority submission processes.Excellent project leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
High level of initiative, problem-solving ability, and results orientation.
