Role and Department
We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our regional data & analytics team based in Singapore.
This role will help build a growth engine for various businesses with strong analytical skills, great business acumen and close collaboration with business teams.
You will work across many different categories, develop data fundamentals and enable winning business strategy.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for:
Leading and maintaining the entire APAC region’s data quality and integration projects to drive insights-based, quality data reporting critical for the business
Leading data modelling and predictive analysis to drive short- and long-term strategic guidance for market share projection, strategic planning and acting as the central data hub for the entire APAC region
Data Stewardship
Maintaining the data quality of our key databases across different data sources to ensure accurate data reporting and hands-on data modelling
Leading data harmonization/integration projects that enable better use of our data sources across the organization
Working with IT and vendors to develop BI tools to automate the reporting and analysis
Consolidating regional consumption performance metrics and providing inputs to SLT with monthly reporting
Support Investor Relations on external communications
Predictive Analytics
Centralizing regional market forecasting to guide Coty’s long-term strategy
Leading modelling and predictive analysis using ML, AI and NLP to drive short- and long-term guidance for innovation and pricing
Exploring opportunities to use all available data sources (including digital analytics) to support brand, product and category development within the varying path to purchase and gain market share
Responsible for data acquisition, identify and utilize Predictive Analytics and AI-generated tools
Impacting Business Strategy
Partnering with business teams and senior leaders to ensure analytics addresses specific business questions and that learning is translated into strategy and action plans
Providing insights and recommendations based on data and analysis to enable enhanced decision making across the business, including performance drivers, and providing ad hoc support to management
Developing Coty Marketing Data Literacy
Providing training on data and reporting tools
Developing use-cases for various business purposes and sharing them with marketing to drive usage and impact
What You’ll Bring
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience (client side preferred)
Experience with market data is a plus: Market data (Nielsen, IRI, NPD), Household panels (Kantar Worldpanel, Nielsen, GfK), Shopper data (Boots Ad Card, Dunnhumby, CRM data), E-commerce and digital media analysis tools
Advanced Excel is essential; Power BI and other BI tools are preferable; basic knowledge of Python or R
Ability to leverage analyses from various data sources to develop solid, actionable recommendations addressing goals/objectives and challenges
Proven ability to build positive working relationships and work successfully in cross-functional teams
Proven experience in managing vendors including data providers and analytics tool developers
Resilient and flexible, able to adapt to new challenges
