About The Team You Are Joining
The Senior Manager, Consulting, Asia takes part in business development, project management, project delivery, and practice management in the Asia pole of IATA Consulting.

He or she reports to the Senior Principal, Consulting, Asia with a focus on IATA’s Asia Pacific (ASPAC) and North Asia (NASIA) regions.
The position is based in IATA’s regional office for Asia-Pacific in Singapore.
What Your Day Would Be Like
The Senior Manager, IATA Consulting, Asia is expected to:
Take Part In Business Development

• Generate leads with commercial prospects in air transport and tourism in Asia (ASPAC and NASIA) through existing and new client relationships at (typically) the vice-president or general manager level.
  
  
• Lead and contribute to the preparation of commercial and technical proposals, including bottom-up budgets that include the planned expertise, effort, and cost of sales involved, leveraging existing tools and templates provided by IATA Consulting.
  
  
• Grow and nurture his or her commercial network throughout Asia-Pacific and North Asia.
  
  Promote other IATA Commercial solutions, products and services including IATA Certifications.
  

• Supervise the delivery of several Consulting projects in parallel, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality, in accordance with IATA Consulting standards.
  
  
• Monitor the project economics incl.
  
  effort and operating margin of projects under supervision.
  
  
• Organize the activities of internal and external resources involved in the projects.
  
  Note: occasionally, projects may take place outside of Asia, at the request of the IATA Consulting leadership.
  

• Lead the delivery teams with his or her own expertise and guidance on solving specific project tasks.
  

• Guide and coach junior members of the team.
  
  
• Grow his or her own expertise in several areas of relevance to IATA Consulting.
  
  
• On an ad-hoc basis, contribute to new product development initiatives led by other resources in IATA Consulting.
  
  
• Attend conferences and produce intellectual property on an ad-hoc basis to increase the brand equity of IATA Consulting in the market.
  

• You have bachelor’s degree in business, Tourism, Aviation, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  
  
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on at least one of the following areas: Airport economics; Tourism; Airline economics; Aviation safety.
  
  
• Demonstrated experience in business development, proposal preparation, project delivery, and report writing.
  
  
• Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
  
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  
  
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
  
  
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, data analysis tools).
  
  
• Experience with international projects and clients.
  
  
• Established network within the tourism and aviation industries.
