We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Training & Competency (T&C) team, stepping into a pivotal role that shapes the future of sales advisory and compliance within our distribution network.
This role oversees two critical functions—Sales Advisory Competency and Monitoring & Surveillance—ensuring our sales force is empowered with the right tools, training, and oversight to deliver exceptional, compliant advice.
You’ll play a key role in driving process enhancements, coaching representatives, and strengthening our monitoring frameworks.

Position Responsibilities
Sales Advisory Process
• Ensure the Sales Advisory System is continuously updated and enhanced to improve user experience and meet regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain the Sales Advisory Process across all product lines, ensuring timely communication to representatives.
• Develop and deliver training materials aligned with sales advisory processes and m360 platform enhancements.
• Coach representatives on the effective use of the sales advisory process and m360 tools.
• Collaborate with Distribution Compliance to identify agency leaders and representatives with adverse BSC findings and support their improvement.
• Partner with Distribution L1B to design and deliver training content that enhances distributor sales competency.
Monitoring & Surveillance
• Plan and execute Supervisory Reviews in accordance with the T&C Manual.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of distribution channels to identify non-compliance or risk exposure, and follow up with appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform close monitoring of representatives with adverse records or compliance concerns, including those with market misconduct or disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with Distribution Compliance and Distribution Risk (L1B) to analyze BSC and Market Conduct trends and update training materials accordingly.
Team Management & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop the T&C team to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in training, compliance, or sales advisory within insurance or financial advisory sectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CMFAS (e.g., M5, M9, M9A, HI) and ACTA/ACLP are required.
Preferred Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of MAS regulations and the Financial Advisers Act.
• Experience in developing and implementing competency and training frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
