As the Treasury Analyst at A*STAR, you will play a critical role in the cash and liquidity management, developing short and long-term cash flow forecasts, and analyzing financial data to identify investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management: Execute daily cash positioning and manage liquidity across all bank accounts to ensure operational needs are met.
Forecasting & Data Analysis: Cash flow forecast to ensure cash sufficiency.
Assist with long-term cash forecasting to support strategic planning and capital allocation.
Analyze cost-saving or investment opportunities.
Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements and other relevant rules.
Investment Management & Reporting: Review investment mandate, policies, strategic asset allocation framework.
Serve as a key point of contact for investment partners to manage daily operations and services.
Work with investment partners/consultants to prepare regular treasury reports for senior management, summarizing cash positions, investment performance, and forecasting.
Job Requirements
Preferably with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)
Strong understanding of financial markets and knowledge of data analytics and data visualization tools
Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders
Able to stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
Able to work independently and in a team to deliver outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
