Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife.
The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
·Lead, plan and develop local initiatives for Mandai Wildlife Reserve (MWR) in order to establish MWR as the most iconic nature and wildlife precinct amongst locals & tourists
·Lead, conceptualize and supervise execution of key campaigns, activations and initiatives to achieve overall brand, attendance and revenue goals for MWR and its parks
·Create innovative go-to-market campaigns and activations that drives action as well as advocacy for MWR’s sustainability and conservation efforts
·Supervise and project manage all aspects from planning, budgeting, approval channels and process, meeting deadlines, contingency planning, campaign analysis and reporting to deliver quality outputs and outcomes
·Proven track record on working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams such as events & programming, digital & social, design and other multiple internal stakeholders to provide strategies and guidance.
·Manage overall marketing budget to improve and achieve optimal ROI
·Lead and secure partnerships with relevant like-minded partners or vendors to improve ROI
·Experience in manging media and creative agencies effectively
·Spearhead and initiate special projects when required
·Provide team stewardship and mentorship for team members
Requirements:
·Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
·Highly motivated individual with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Marketing or related disciplines, preferably in Tourism or Hospitality industry
·Proven experience in brand building, consumer integrated marketing, digital marketing, project management and budget management
·Proven capability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
·Confident, creative and energetic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
·Analytical, results-orientated, and highly organised
·Competent leadership with supervisory team management experience
·Able to work independently while being a good team player.
·Able to provide mentorship to junior team members.
