The Post Services team within the Studio Management and Services group manages and develops post production services and spaces and is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Post Services - APAC Operations to join our Global team with a focus on local alignment, adoption, and success across our portfolio of services.
The Senior Manager, Post Services - APAC Operations links Netflix’s Global Post Services strategy with the needs of local Title Management teams within the APAC region.
This role balances the unique demands of APAC, supports production partners, ensures service delivery excellence, and aligns with global best practices and local production needs.
The APAC Operations lead will have deep knowledge of regional markets and use insights, data, and relationships to drive growth, optimize services, and provide value to local and global stakeholders.
This role will be based in Tokyo, Seoul or Singapore.

The ideal candidate is well versed in post production standards and best practices.
We are seeking a self-starter who can think strategically and tactically about our services and how to optimize support, workflow and efficiency across our different models and regions.
This position will report to the Director, Post Services.
The regional leader will support and empower local Managers and ICs as we approach the next stage of growth in MPS Dailies and Offline Editorial, alongside the growing volume and complexity of services in Screenings and Sound.
The Senior Manager will evangelise, socialise and facilitate growth by developing relationships and alignment with key regional stakeholders in Title Management.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor regional teams to create a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Ensure teams are aligned on priorities, maintain high standards, and effectively support production partners
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations of Netflix's post-production services in the region, along with the various screening resources and ingest hubs across the APAC region, focusing on execution, optimization, and high-quality service delivery.
Identify and implement process improvements that drive operational impact and leverage Netflix’s global resources effectively.
Regional Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to tailor global post production operations to the specific needs and nuances of the APAC market.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local Content and Title management, production partners, market vendors, product leaders, and cross-functional teams.
Act as a trusted regional representative, balancing local needs with global objectives to ensure seamless service alignment and delivery.
Resource Allocation: Optimize the use of internal post-production resources, ensuring facilities and staff are aligned to meet project demands.
Netflix Tooling and Workflow Adoption: Lead initiatives to help shows adopt new Netflix engineered tools and workflows, providing training and support to ensure successful integration and utilization.
Budget Management: Oversee budgeting for Post Services activities in the region, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality of delivery to our Shows and stakeholders.
Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest post-production technologies and trends, recommending and implementing new tools, workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, quality and scale.
Growth and Opportunity Identification: Continuously monitor market trends and seek opportunities for growth, adjusting strategies and services as needed to expand Netflix’s reach and enhance its production capabilities in the region.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in post-production management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience within the APAC region is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of post-production workflows, technologies, and industry standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Language: Business level English fluency and Japanese or Korean language fluency is required.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, understanding regional differences and adapting strategies accordingly.
Travel: Willingness to travel within the APAC East region, and globally as needed.
Ability to organize and align globally, regionally and having the experience to know which should be prioritized and when.
Proven track record of innovation, initiative, creativity, and implementation

Proven experience leading remote teams and working effectively in a global operational environment.
