We are seeking a Senior or Principal Manager to manage and/or lead the design, implementation, and governance of the Career Guidance Division’s (CGD) systems and data assets to ensure reliability, scalability and security, while enabling innovation and operational excellence for continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies
Systems & Digital Management
Manage and/or lead system through the entire lifecycle – from planning and development to maintenance and retirement – using methodologies like Agile or Waterfall
Able to streamline workflows, drive digital awareness, adoption and reimagine processes for operational efficiency.
Data Governance & Management
Track records, make complex data understandable and easy to use, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions and drive innovation.
Able to assess complex issues and design structured, data-driven solutions
Operational & Stakeholder Management
Possess experience in managing diverse stakeholder requirements and aligning them with organizational objectives.
Possess experience in overseeing procurement, managing project budgets, and monitoring vendor performance to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost.
Possess strong knowledge of risk, compliance, and audit management for systems and data.
Collaboration & Communication Skills
Adept at engaging diverse stakeholders with effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective in cross functional settings; adaptable and resilient in fast-changing environment
Leaderships and Capability Building (For Principal Manager)
Provide strategic guidance informed by digital, systems, and data trends and policies.
Demonstrate expertise in digital, systems and data trends to inform and influence strategic decisions
Responsibilities
Develop and implement CGD’s system and data management strategy aligned with organisational goals.
Drive digital transformation through adoption of systems and re-engineering processes
Oversee systems integration and manage end-to-end life cycle of CGD’s applications and platforms
Establish policies, frameworks and standards to ensure high quality, secure data
Oversee vendor partnerships, balancing with stakeholders’ management ensuring value and accountability of projects
For Principal Manager
Provide strategic guidance and advisory to a multidisciplinary team of system and data professionals.
Build internal capability through training, knowledge sharing, and talent development.
Provide thought leadership on digital, system, and data trends to inform strategic decision-making.
