Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, solutioning and management of robotics business for both local & overseas customers
- Take lead to pursue tender or contract bids
- Manage resource planning within teams
- Understand the current and future technology trends to steer the company's focus to identify market demands based on customer needs
- Understanding of Robotics, Autonomation and Unmanned Systems Technology
- Develop engagement plan and winning strategy for robotics and unmanned systems
- Conduct tender evaluation in accordance with customer requirements
- Identify customer pain points and work with relevant departments to formulate solutions for the purpose of product development
- Manage allocated Business Development budget
- Must be willing to travel overseas (whenever required)
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (Other Degree will be considered)
- At least 7 years' experience in commercial and/or military robotics system related field
- Candidates with hands-on or in-depth robotics / robotics technology knowledge will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in speaking and writing in English; proficiency in other languages will be an advantage
- Proven experience in strategic planning, program management and risk management
- Ability to develop and effectively articulate business plan for stakeholders
- Proven experience in risk management
