As a Senior Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization.
The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business.
The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning (ML) to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will work and lead a team comprising of I4.0 Analysts, Data Scientist and Data Science Engineers.
The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business.
The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
You will also work closely with key stakeholders to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead Managers, I4.0 Analysts, Data Engineers & Data Scientists to deliver I4.0 projects that require the coordination and support of resources from global teams
Work closely with stakeholders including Engineering team, Procurement team, Central Cost Team, Site Cost teams and Program Management team to identify and implement end-to-end AI-based solution for identification of cost opportunities and value capture
Quantify, track, and monitor financial/operational impact of I4.0 solutions to the business
Identify new I4.0 use-cases and best practices across strategic and operational processes
Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementation
Ability to think critically and break down complex data/processes to identify key levers and applicable solutions
Coach and develop capabilities (functional & technical knowledge) of team members reporting into you
Qualifications
At least 8-10 years of work experience in Cost projects, Cost initiatives or similar operations functions
Familiar with processes, systems and solutions preferably in the semiconductor industry
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work multi-functionally with peers, senior and mid-level management
Peer leadership and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and ability to remain flexible to the changing business needs
Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team or teams of analysts that provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large.

Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis.
Advises business leaders by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.
Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Note: typically will be the manager of teams with Data Scientists, Business Intelligence Analysts and/or Statisticians.
