Senior Manager, Southeast Asia Transformation



Job description

This position will be part of the Southeast Asia Leadership team of Publicis Re:Sources, and will work closely with Shared Services Center (SSC) management, as well as with key business partners across the Southeast Asia organization, including advertising/media finance and media operations, IT to drive strategic analysis and transformation requirement of the business and SSC organization.

She/he will be supporting the Publicis Re:Sources Southeast Asia Managing Director/CEO in strategic projects across the region, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Together with the Southeast Asia Managing Director/CEO, she/he will oversee and drive the core SSC processes and IT system change for the SEA region

The individual will be assigned as member of one or more specific projects teams in different countries and will be responsible of the Re:Sources oversight of the assigned projects.

She/he will lead a variety of different types of projects including operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, business change model, systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Strategic Leadership : Spearhead the development and execution of strategic transformation initiatives that are closely aligned with the company's overarching objectives, effectively driving enhanced performance.

  • Project Management Excellence : Oversee all project management aspects related to Transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to allocated budgets.

  • Change Management : Lead change management processes to facilitate seamless transitions and successful adoption of new technologies, processes, and organizational structures
  • Collaborative Alignment: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, department heads, and external partners to secure alignment and robust support for all transformation activities.

  • Technology and Data Integration: Partner and synchronize efforts with key stakeholders to lead the adoption and integration of Data Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.

  • Strategy and Innovation : Propose and implement strategies and methodologies that promote bold, disruptive thinking and agility in idea implementation across the organization.

  • Capability Development : Identify existing capability gaps and recommend targeted actions to address and close these gaps, ensuring the organization's long-term growth and adaptability

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • She/he has had exposure to changing environments and has been a major contributor to them
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and financial regulations
  • Strong ability to engage cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • Systems: SAP, MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project or other Project Management tools
  • Finance Transformation, Leading project, Action plan is a must

Key Relationships (internal &/or external) : -

  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure effective collaboration among team members.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, and any issues or risks.

  • Work closely with the following stakeholders:
  • Southeast Asia Shared Services Managing Director
  • Southeast Asia Finance Operations (e.g. Account Payables, Account ) and other SSC functions
  • Regional/country Chief Financial Officers
  • Media Operations
  • Global and regional IT
    Global SSC and GPOs (Global Process Owners)

Qualifications : -

  • University graduate or Business school, in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

    Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.

  • Leverage 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on regional exposure.

  • Proven experience leading and managing technical teams
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or financial system-specific certifications are advantageous.
