About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our APAC team as the Senior Marketing Manager .

This role will oversee and support MFZ in executing marketing strategies and initiatives to reach their desired KPIs. The role requires a deep understanding of the regional markets and influencing MFZ to ensure they are aligned with the Brand’s strategies and guidelines, partnering with internal teams to deliver the assets and support for the MFZ markets.

The position also entails managing the Ad Fund for selected APAC markets and working with agencies to deliver impactful campaigns.

Success in this role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with our partners, being highly organized and detail-oriented, and translating strategic insights into actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in regional marketing strategies and Subway know-how that will enable master franchisees to execute high-impact campaigns that drive growth and profitability at the market level.

Ensuring that MFZ are well informed about developments in the Subway world and aligned with APAC strategies and brand direction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the key marketing advisor and partner for Master Franchisees, providing guidance, tools, and resources to ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across the region.

    Interpret data and translate insights to influence stakeholders effectively.

    Facilitate platforms and forums like Best Practice forums and MFZ Summit to unify guidance.

    Support campaign planning, execution, and measurement of effectiveness.

    Develop resources and tools to evaluate campaign performance.

    Build strong relationships with franchise leaders to understand their market needs and deliver tailored marketing support.

    Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Manage the Ad Fund Budget for selected APAC markets, ensuring effective spending aligned with KPIs.
  • Maintain and update the Subway Global MFZ Drive for visibility at regional and global levels.

  • Track media expenditures for budget compliance and accuracy.

  • Ensure adherence to budget and legal restrictions in spending.

  • Handle contracts, vendor agreements, and invoices within the Subway network and with external partners.

  • Coordinate with various functions to ensure departmental alignment (e.g., IPC).

  • Liaise between MFZ and APAC subject matter experts on Digital, Loyalty, and Insights requirements.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5-8 years of experience in marketing, preferably in QSR or related industries.

  • Experience managing end-to-end marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent communication skills to influence and build rapport with MFZs and internal teams.

  • Fluency in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese is a plus.

  • Solution-oriented mindset, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working under tight deadlines.

  • Innovative, creative, and collaborative team player.

  • Strong analytical skills complemented by business acumen.

  • Experience in a Master Franchisee environment or supporting one is advantageous.
