As a Mechanical Design Engineer in our R&D team, you will play a key role in developing next-generation semiconductor automation equipment.
You will transform ideas into prototypes, lead design explorations, and work closely with cross-functional experts to push the boundaries of precision engineering.

Job Description
- Conceptualize, design, and prototype high-precision semiconductor automation equipment and modules.
- Drive design standardization, cost optimization, and project management for R&D initiatives.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and concurrent engineering principles to ensure robust and efficient designs.
- Develop and validate pneumatic/hydraulic circuits, high-speed pick-and-place mechanisms, and ultra-precision systems.
- Produce detailed fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings using 3D CAD tools (CREO preferred, SolidWorks/other CAD acceptable).
- Perform structural, kinematic, and dynamic analysis, including FEA simulations and tolerance stack-ups.
- Collaborate with software, electronics, and vision engineering teams to integrate designs into full system solutions.
- Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and design iterations in R&D.
- Contribute to continuous innovation through design improvements, patent filings, and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical support at customer sites when required
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or semiconductor equipment.
- Strong 3D CAD modeling skills (CREO preferred, SolidWorks/other platforms welcome).
