Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating to join Worley in Singapore.
You will be a key member of the design team, allocated to a project and working under the direction of the Department Manager.

What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating to join our Singapore team.
- Provide definition of the Mechanical engineering – Rotating work for the project, design approach or criteria by skill and experience.
- Understand and apply applicable International Codes, Standards and Local Regulations; raise deviations where necessary.
- Produce Equipment List for Rotating Equipment Packages and contribute to the Main Equipment List.
- Input weight control data for rotating equipment and packages, including final weighed weights from vendors.
- Prepare specifications and data sheets for Rotating Equipment Packages (e.g., process pumps, gas compressors, gas turbines, fire water pumps, instrument air compressors).
- Prepare RFQs, conduct Technical Bid Evaluation and review Vendor Data for Rotating Equipment packages.
- Act as the overall package Engineer for Rotating equipment packages, coordinating inputs from Process, Instrumentation, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Safety & Loss Prevention, and others to ensure integrated package design in RFQ, TBE and Vendor data.
- Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all packages.
- Develop FAT and SAT procedures for Mechanical packages.
- Carry out Driver Selection Study if required for turbines and compressors.
- Maintain work progress (budget, schedule) and raise change documentation when needed.
- Ensure documentation within scope is prepared, checked, reviewed and approved per project Working Instructions.
- Supervise technical detail, budget and schedule of Mechanical design in project work when requested by the Lead Mechanical Engineer.
- Liaise professionally with clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Plan manhour budgets and schedules for projects within the focal area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with the client focal point on technical and engineering matters.
- Quality Assurance – work within the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
- Safety – follow OH&S procedures and maintain personal safety on the project.
What You’ll Have
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical packages for Offshore Oil & Gas projects for FEED and Detailed engineering of FPSO topsides modules.
- Good working knowledge of codes and standards relating to the oil and gas industry, particularly API recommended practices and ASME pressure vessel codes.
