Job Summary:
As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services team, the Network Administrator will play a key role in managing, supporting, and maintaining network infrastructure across a global footprint of 600+ remote locations in Europe, Asia, the US, Latin America, and Canada.
This role involves both operational support and project-based work, contributing to the deployment and lifecycle management of network and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support existing and new network infrastructure and security solutions in accordance with support processes.
- Build, deploy, and administer/manage WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services (e.g., NLB).
Provide senior-level operational support for:
Troubleshooting, incident resolution, and problem management.
- Reporting on activity, performance, and quality of network platforms and security solutions.
- Documentation of procedures and support materials.
- Assist in the implementation of new network and security infrastructure components.
- Ensure stability, responsiveness, and lifecycle consistency across network platforms and security solutions.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the evaluation and qualification of new network and security solutions.
- Provide expert recommendations to senior technical teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- Preferably CCNP certified.
- Strong experience in LAN/WAN/WLAN administration and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in routing protocols (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Knowledge of LAN technologies (VRRP, VSS, STP).
- Understanding of QoS mechanisms.
- Experience with Wi-Fi controllers and access points.
- Load Balancer administration (Citrix NetScaler).
- Security administration with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Pulse remote access, and reverse proxy.
- Preferably Palo Alto certified.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with infrastructure solutions (servers, storage).
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Experience with WAN compression and optimization appliances (Riverbed).
- Telephony and voice infrastructure administration (primarily Cisco).
Behavioral & Professional Competencies:
- 3–7 years of experience in infrastructure, with 3–5 years specifically in network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco network products, Palo Alto, and Riverbed.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluent in English (French reading ability is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
