Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design and selection of all types of static equipment on EPC projects through various engineering work phases (i.e., feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED studies, and detailed engineering).
Responsible for the mechanical design of static equipment in compliance with international codes such as ASME Sec VIII Div-1, Div-2, EN-13445, UKCA, and AS-1200/1210, 4343 Australian codes.
Responsible for preparing technical specifications and data sheets for static equipment such as pressure vessels, separators, process vessels, S&T heat exchangers, air coolers, tanks, and packages such as glycol dehydration packages, chemical injection packages, H2S removal packages, and produced water treatment packages.
Responsible for the complete requisitioning of static equipment and packages.
Coordinates work with inter-disciplines, clients, and suppliers.
Responsible for the technical evaluation of bids; prepares technical bid tabulation reports by interacting with suppliers, clients, and inter-disciplines.
Participates in HAZID, HAZOP, and model review studies for packages; coordinates and closes out mechanical-related issues.
Performs vendor document and design reviews for static equipment and packages.
Preparation of Equipment List, Weight Control Report and Master Deliverable list for topside equipment
Job Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Held a similar position of responsibility on a FPSO EPC projects, demonstrating relevant expertise and experience with reputed international clients.
Offshore project experience (Wellhead, fixed platforms, and FPSO) is required.
Proven track record in delivering comprehensive FEED and Detailed Engineering solutions
Well conversant with international industry codes such as ASME, AS, API, EN, NACE, WRC, PED, UKCA, etc.
Should possess coordination and good oral and written communication skills.
Well conversant with design engineering software like PV Elite, Nozzle Pro, HTRI, etc.
