is seeking a Senior Principal Research Scientist to lead a to lead the Centre for Quantum Sensing Technology (CQST).
The successful candidate will drive innovative research projects, mentor junior researchers, and contribute to advancing ’s strategic research goals.**Key Responsibilities:*** Define strategic R&D priorities and collaborate with TL researchers to shape and guide research directions.* Manage the research unit’s financial and resource planning to sustain long-term expertise and operational excellence.* Provide oversight and guidance on the transition of research outcomes* Lead technically and support the development of Research Directors, Programme Managers, and group members through mentorship.**Job Requirements:*** PhD in Physics, Computer Science Engineering or Quantum related area with 20 years’ experience in the field.* Experienced in managing a technical department or research center.* Strong analytical, transdisciplinary and systems thinking, as well as influencing skills.
