Responsibilities
- Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
- Serve as a primary, day to day customer point of contact, communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
- Work as an extension of the customer’s management team and provide contract compliance and fulfilment.
- Maintain excellence in written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
- Collaborate with project developers and field organization representatives to meet deadlines for related work.
- Develop detailed water or wastewater treatment system process design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and provide technical support to customers during project tendering, including technical information and clarifications.
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions.
- Review project specifications to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.
- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, products, research, and concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering
- At least 4-5 years of industry experience (water or wastewater treatment)
- At least 2 years of experience in project management (e.g., project coordination, documentation and planning)
- Proficient in water/wastewater system process design or equipment sizing (e.g., RO projection software)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and challenging environment
