Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery for cash management and payment systems, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and vendors to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
Drive requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation across core payment platforms (RTGS, SWIFT, ISO20022, SEPA, ACH, cross-border payments, etc.).
Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements in payment processing.
Establish and manage project governance frameworks, risk management plans, and reporting structures.
Oversee testing, migration, and go-live activities, ensuring minimal disruption to critical payment operations.
Mentor and guide project team members, ensuring best practices in Agile/Waterfall project methodologies.
Monitor key project metrics and present regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing processes within cash management and payment operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
12+ years of experience in project management within banking, financial services, or fintech domains.
Strong expertise in cash management, treasury, and payment systems (domestic and international).
Proven experience in delivering projects related to SWIFT, RTGS, ISO20022 migration, cross-border payments, and digital banking channels.
Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (MAS, PSD2, AML, FATF, etc.).
Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum Master) preferred.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
