Project Coordinator Job Description
This is a challenging role that requires exceptional organizational and project management skills.
As a project coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- You will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of results.
- Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement projects from start to finish.
- Plan and schedule work to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate vendors and sub-contractors to ensure quality standards.
- Ensure timely documentation from vendors and sub-contractors.
- Monitor progress, provide regular reports to management and clients.
- Conduct site walks to ensure smooth project progress.
- Anticipate issues, provide solutions to prevent delays.
- Prepare testing schedules, reports, and invitations for client witness testing.
- Coordinate Integrated Services Test (IST) with consultants and clients.
- Work with CAD department to ensure accuracy in construction drawings.
- Prepare OMM and handover certificates for completed projects.
- Document system write-ups for each discipline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidates with engineering education can be considered for training.
- 3-4 years' experience in M&E industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques desired.
- Safety awareness required at all times.
- Familiarity with Authority Requirements and Code of Practice preferred.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and commit to long working hours.
- A team player who works well with internal and external teams.
