The Senior Project Manager (FPSO) is responsible for leading, managing, and delivering FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The role involves coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and interface management teams to ensure full integration and execution excellence.
Establish clear project objectives, execution strategy, and implementation plans in alignment with company and client requirements.
Oversee multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring coordination across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning disciplines.
- Project Execution & Control:
Develop and maintain the project execution plan, including cost, schedule, quality, and risk management.
Monitor project progress and performance; identify deviations and implement corrective actions promptly.
Drive adherence to project milestones and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
- Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact with the client and key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and interface coordination sessions.
- Commercial & Contractual Management:
Manage all contractual and commercial aspects of the project, including claims, variations, and risk assessments.
Work closely with the Contracts, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Team Management:
Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Ensure sufficient resources are allocated and competencies align with project requirements.
- HSE & Quality:
Ensure compliance with company and client HSE standards throughout all project phases.
Promote a strong safety culture and enforce adherence to QA/QC procedures.
Master's degree or PMP certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 10 years managing large-scale FPSO or offshore projects .
- Proven track record in EPC / EPCI project execution with deep understanding of FPSO design, fabrication, integration, and commissioning processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, multicultural project teams across multiple locations.
- Solid understanding of contractual, financial, and risk management principles.
- Willingness to travel or be based at project sites (yard or offshore) as required.
