Key Responsibilities
Project Management Deliver large complex infrastructure projects, providing sound decision making and calm leadership under pressure Ensure on time, on budget projects by delivering predictable and reliable cost estimating, management and forecasting for portfolio of projects Ensure quality across all aspects of the projects program to deliver successfully with no major issues at go live; this includes effective management of change, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies Improve governance (policies, standards, guidelines) on successful delivery outcomes e.g. industry compliances, delivery frameworks/playbooks, port-mortem reviews, documentations Cross group collaboration Work closely with all technical group to manage and coordinate resourcing of technical skills to handle project and services delivery, Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales to progress new opportunities during deal proposal, reviews i.e. demand analysis, demos, tenders, etc. Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
Degree or other equivalent At least 12+ years of experience At least 8 years of IT project management experience At least 3 years of infrastructure related projects At least 3 years of people management Demonstrated project management experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with proven record of successful delivery Good knowledge and experience of all stages of the project and program lifecycle, including development of business cases, mobilization of projects. Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively and experience of financial reporting Experience in delivering infrastructure projects (data centres, cloud) will be an advantage Understanding of on-premises (data centres, virtualization, hyper-converge, security) and cloud ecosystems - AWS, Azure, Huawei, Alibaba Understanding of the infra stack i.e. x86, Unix, storage, networks, security, desktops/laptops/devices, servers Knowledge of IT lifecycle management Knowledge of ITSM - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Patch Management Ability to successfully manage and coordinate project teams comprising of both technical and business teams Strong communication skills Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical and business teams Able to interact with various levels of internal and external stakeholders both in written and verbal forms Ability to efficiently understand client organizations culture and business model to tailor relevant project management practice PMP Certification and Experience in handling large Enterprise RFQ/RFP and government tender will be an added advantage
